BLOCK OF PRESSURE CONTROL OF MEDICAL GASES BC-1, BC-2, BC-3

 

     

   

 

The units for monitoring the pressure of medical gases (hereinafter - BC) are designed for:

- monitoring of working pressure in the main lines of medical gases;

- Emergency disconnection of medical gases from the centralized supply system;

- the supply of sound and light signal during a critical pressure change in the monitored line.

    BCs are used to control the pressure of medical gases: oxygen (O2), nitrous oxide (N2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), air (Air) and vacuum (Vac) in life support systems of intensive care units, intensive care, physiotherapy and operating units, in Health facilities (clinics, hospitals, clinics, etc.)

    Type of climatic performance - UHL4.2.

    The blocks for monitoring the pressure of medical gases are made in accordance with TU BY 100027309.002-2006 amend. "1"

The device and the principle of operation

  The BC consists of a control unit and an alarm device. The control unit and the warning device are attached to the wall. The operating gas pressure limits are set by adjusting the position of the indicators in the pressure gauges. When the minimum and the maximum pressure increase, light and sound alarms are given. To shut off or turn on the gas supply, the units are equipped with ball valves.

    The control units have three modifications:

The unit for monitoring the pressure of medical gases of the GKSN 011.000.000 (BС-3) - for three gases (for any type of gas: oxygen (O2), nitrous oxide (N2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), air (Air) and vacuum Vac) in various combinations).

Technical characteristics of the control unit

- Supply and removal of gases to the control unit is made from above.

- Nominal controlled pressure from 0.3 to 0.8 MPa (for vacuum to minus 0.09 MPa).

- Maximum working pressure in gas lines 0,8 MPa.

- Conditional pass of gas pipes DN = 15 mm.

- The control unit ensures a complete shutdown of the gas supply to the pipeline.

- Connecting pipes, gas fittings of the control unit are made of corrosion-resistant materials, resistant to oxygen and used medical gases.

- The external surfaces of the control unit have a protective and decorative coating in accordance with GOST 9.410, resistant to disinfection with solutions approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

Technical specifications of the notification device

- Power supply 230 + 23 V.

- Frequency 50 + 1 Hz.

- The voltage of the internal signal circuit is 12 + 0.2 V.

- Rated current consumption from the network 0.10 A.

- Consumed current when alarm of one siren alarm: sound - no more than 0.06 A, light - no more than 0.03 A.

- Sound pressure level of one siren at a distance of 1 m along the siren axis - no more than 80 dB.

- Weight (content) of silver:

in the switch BC-1 - 0.02119 g;

in the switch BC-2 - 0.04238 g;

in the switch BC-3 - 0.06357 g.
